Protesters Demand Reform in Morocco
Inspired by successful revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia, two fellow North African nations, Moroccan youth activists used the internet to call for protests on February 20th. Several civil society organizations have voiced their support for the protests and have promised to join. The main demands of the protesters are a move to parliamentary monarchy, separation of branches of government and a new democratic constitution. More
