#NoDAPL

More Info
American Indian protesters are holding an occupation to stop the construction of an oil pipeline in North Dakota. Activists in the Standing Rock Sioux tribe say that the Dakota Access Pipeline, which would bring shale from ND territories to Gulf refineries, puts ancestral lands at risk of contamination. Despite numerous arrests, support for the movement continues to grow. Additional actions against the pipeline have cropped up around the United States, led by tribal members concerned with protecting the environmental integrity of the plains.
